Responsible for preparing all documents necessary for closing consumer loans. Reviews supplementary documents, i.e. proof of insurance, proof of income, purchase orders, etc.). Electronically delivers loan paperwork, coordinate sclosings with branch personnel as needed. Disburses loans once all required paperwork has been completed. Assists with eforms and answers and directs telephone calls from members or internal staff. Complies with all BSA, federal and state regulations. Provides professional service to members. Reviews applications from underwriters to ensure accuracy and completeness. Completes loan processing duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Performs loan booking functions and prepares all necessary documents for closing of consumer loans. Coordinates loan closings with members and/or with internal personnel as needed. Follows up with members pending to Docusign their loan documents Meets established production goals. Keeps processing and other related procedures current Verifies applicable loan rates and documents in Meridianlink for accuracy and completeness Prepares paperwork for loan applications, runs reports, reviews credit ratings, works up applications and sends out denial letters, as needed. Resolves (or refers) requests and problems promptly and courteously. Answers member questions pertaining to loans, balances, and payoffs or any issues escalated to the department. Answers routine questions or directs members to appropriate personnel. Records and relays messages. Completes assigned work for the department managers. Completes reports promptly and accurately. Supports and assists loan department personnel as needed. Assists in maintaining department files. Keeps manager informed of area activities and of problems involving members or employees. Attends and participates in meetings as required. Ensures that the work area is clean, secure and well maintained. Performs miscellaneous administrative functions as needed Keeps members properly informed of Credit Union policies and procedures. Maintains and conveys the Credit Union's professional reputation. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Follows established company policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Sarbanes Oxley, Business Ethics and Standard of Conduct, Electronic Communications, Confidentiality, and Privacy
