The Loan Processor I has the responsibility of providing excellent dealer, credit union and member service when interacting with all parties to accurately complete documentation vetting/verification and funding of auto loans. This individual actively processes and funds applications in one system.

Requirements

  • High School education required
  • Minimum of two years office experience working in a auto/lending service environment.
  • Solid understanding of lending and loan processing procedures.
  • Work independently with a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and established goals.
  • Specialized problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high accuracy rate.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years Credit Union processing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review/Quality Control contracts from dealers to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Follow up with dealers to collect missing items or stipulations.
  • Responsible for sending completed loan packages to appropriate credit unions for final funding and/or completing funding on their behalf.
  • Work to foster and enhance teamwork within the organization.
  • Provide the highest quality products and services to each other and our clients.
  • Consistently promotes and models the culture and values of CUDC.
  • Demonstrates the behaviors aligned with each value with clients and employees across the organization.
