Requirements

  • Education & Experience - You will need a Bachelor's Degree AND 4-6 years of previous related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily functions within the Loan Processing Center, ensuring efficient workflows, timely loan processing, and adherence to company and investor guidelines.
  • Quality & Compliance: Review, analyze, and maintain underwriting and processing quality for both portfolio and secondary-market loans. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
  • Underwriting Oversight: Maintain underwriting expertise, approve portfolio loans, back up underwriters, train underwriting staff, and manage underwriting standards and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Maximize workflow efficiencies, refine procedures, and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience while maintaining operational accuracy.
  • Team Coaching & Development: Lead, mentor, and empower Loan Center employees through ongoing feedback, quarterly goal setting, individual meetings, and timely performance evaluations. Provide training, guidance, and growth opportunities.
  • Loan Pipeline Management: Oversee processing and closing functions, verify documentation, monitor loan conditions, and support accurate and compliant loan origination.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current on regulatory changes, investor updates, industry trends, and financial technology developments. Share insights and recommendations with the team.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with the Director of Residential Mortgage Lending and internal stakeholders to support product development, workflow enhancements, and overall lending success.
  • Customer Experience: Model and ensure delivery of C&N's Customer Service Standards across all interactions, both internally and with clients.
