Job Summary As a Vice President Deal Set Up Funding Manager in the Deal Set Up and Funding team, you will lead professionals facilitating syndicated loans for Fortune 500 companies through the deal closing process. You will drive operational excellence, foster cross-functional partnerships, and ensure a first-class client experience. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing talent, optimizing processes, and delivering results aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Strong understanding of finance and loan products, with experience in syndicated loans
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and driving results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
Nice To Haves
- Commercial banking experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Syndicated loan experience

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Deal Set Up and Funding professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Oversee collaboration across multiple teams to ensure accurate interpretation and processing of loan documentation for new deals and amendments
- Provide strategic oversight of closing-related fees and principal payments, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Manage and prioritize the team’s pipeline of transactions, addressing complex and high-value deals
- Review and govern exception reports related to recently closed transactions, driving resolution and process enhancements
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, maintaining a low quality control error rate
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and secondary approvals as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with front office, legal, transaction coordinators, and account servicing teams to deliver exceptional client service
