About The Position

The Loan Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the Loan Operations Department, ensuring accurate and timely servicing of the bank’s loan portfolio, and oversees the production of loan documentation relating to the opening, servicing and closing of all loans. Ensure loans and agreements comply with state and federal laws, regulations and bank lending policies and procedures. Ensure department activities run smoothly and efficiently. The supervisor provides leadership, training and supervision within the department. Perform direct supervisory duties of department staff, coordinate staff for coverage in all related areas of the department and be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of servicing loans. Provide loan support to loan operations staff, bank officers and other bank personnel. Responsible for handling all aspects of the LaserPro program. This includes ensuring updates are reviewed and working with IT to ensure they are loaded. Ensure that personnel are informed of changes, maintain accuracy of standard products and overall integrity of program. Stay up to date on compliance matters as they pertain to the loan function. Prepare various reports for lenders, board of directors, etc. as necessary, i.e., charged off reports, monthly extensions, exception to guidelines. Responsible for maintenance and changes to the loan programs in Horizon. Act as a backup for all positions when needed to ensure continuity of workflows within the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of five (5) years banking experience, preferably with some lending related skills
  • Must have a high level of organizational skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must be able to multitask and follow-up
  • Ability to prioritize daily workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Good management and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal with customers and employees
  • Perform well while meeting deadlines in a fast-past environment
  • Ability to stay focused despite interruptions
