About The Position

The Loan Operations Processor/Specialist is involved in all aspects of processing the loan, to include, creating documents, boarding and booking loans, as well as loan maintainance, etc.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ banking experience is required.
  • Demonstrated decision-making.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to provide prompt service and timely decisions within a fast-paced environment, managing changing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner to provide exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding/working knowledge of TRID closing disclosures is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with document prep strongly preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of loan information systems, particularly Laser Pro is strongly preferred.
  • Hands on experience in the processing of various loans to include commercial, consumer and mortgage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares loan documentation from Laser Pro for consumer/ mortgage/commercial loan settlements.
  • Inputs new loans into the core and sets up payment schedules according to loan documentation.
  • Performs file maintenance as necessary on existing loan portfolio, including the processing of payments, corrections to account postings, and resolving customer service needs.
  • Perfects bank's lien mortgages and deeds of trust.
  • Complete closing disclosures following TRID.
  • Files liens for vehicle loans.
  • Organizes loan files with all required documentation.
  • Ensures all noted exception items are tracked and cleared in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking UCC filings, hazard and flood insurance, and other required items.
  • Ability to perform reconciliation of general ledger settlement accounts. Ensures that daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations are complete and accurate and necessary research is performed on all outstanding items.
  • Performs input of wire transfers for settlements.
  • Interacts with loan officers when needed to ensure proper adherence to procedures and policies.
