About The Position

At Citizens Community Bank, we’re looking for motivated students who want to make an impact and help us keep our customers at the heart of everything we do. We value a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and included. We’re currently hiring a Loan Operations Intern to support our Commercial and Consumer Loan Operations department. This is an in-person position. You’ll develop a solid understanding of the documents and processes involved in real-world lending. No prior banking experience is required. We provide full training, both on the job and through online courses covering banking topics and regulations. This internship is 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling anytime Monday–Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Requirements

Current Idaho State University College of Business student
In good academic standing
Detail-oriented, motivated, and ready to learn
Someone who values teamwork, inclusion, and professional growth

Responsibilities

Scanning and indexing loan documents
Verifying required paperwork
Processing paid notes
Assisting with special projects as they come up
Working alongside experienced loan operations staff and commercial/consumer lenders
Regular, on-site attendance during standard business hours is required to perform the duties of this position
Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish assigned job duties
Additional duties as assigned
Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB
Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel)
Comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date
Represent in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs
