About The Position

Loan Operations Assistant Manager (Bismarck, ND) BNC National Bank in Bismarck, ND is searching for a motivated and experienced Loan Operations Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our loan processing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflows, supporting lending staff, and helping drive continuous improvement across our Loan Operations function. What You'll Do Support daily loan processing operations and ensure timely, accurate workflows Assist in training and mentoring loan processing staff Partner with leadership to implement procedures, improve processes, and enhance efficiency Prepare and manage reporting (SBA 1502, FHLB, monthly reporting, etc.) Provide support with Loan Origination System administration Review and resolve consumer credit bureau disputes in compliance with FCRA Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Step in as a backup to the Loan Operations Manager as needed Leadership Responsibilities Help drive team performance and department goals aligned with organizational objectives Provide clear communication, coaching, and ongoing support to team members Assist with scheduling, workload delegation, and performance monitoring Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team environment What You Bring Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • High School Diploma required
  • 5+ years of loan operations or loan processing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
