About The Position

POSITION: Full-Time Loan Officer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serving members via telephone, mail, walk-in and at special events. The Loan Officer provides account and loan services including opening new accounts, processing, approving and disbursing loan applications, doing credit report and tax form analysis, and recommending all credit union products and services to members that need them. Other duties may include: title documentation, filing, assisting the Collector with delinquent accounts, insurance tracking, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Pleasant, friendly demeanor including the ability to greet members and make them feel comfortable.
A Loan Officer must be able to demonstrate superior sales techniques and telephone expertise plus strong organization and decision-making skills.
This position requires the ability to understand and retain complex information about the credit union's products and services and the competence to recommend them properly in the process of building member relationships.
Must be PC-proficient in a Windows environment including keyboard competence.
