About The Position

Loan Insurance Analyst I Role Responsibilities: Review and analyze annual insurance renewal documents for assigned loans. Evaluate policies for compliance with loan documents, servicing agreements, and investor standards. Identify deficiencies and determine appropriate follow-up actions. Maintain accurate and timely insurance data within internal systems. Respond to inquiries from agents, borrowers, and internal customers within 48 hours. Maintain regulatory accuracy for flood packages, audits, and compliance tasks. Support audit requests, loan sales, and special projects. Provide cross-training and backup coverage for team members. Participate in ongoing training and cybersecurity compliance. Identify opportunities for operational improvements. Communicates clearly and professionally with agents, borrowers, and teams. Works well with peers and supports department goals. Skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and online systems. Quick to learn internal platforms like McCracken, Fiserv and vendor systems. Minimum Qualifications: 0–1 year of experience in insurance, lending, banking, customer service, or administrative work. Exposure to any of the following is helpful but not required: insurance documents mortgage or loan servicing real estate industry financial institutions Internship experience in a related field is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documents and data. Ability to learn and apply insurance and loan-servicing concepts with training. Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers. Ability to exercise sound judgment when identifying discrepancies or issues. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred (fields such as Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Real Estate, or related areas). Licenses/Certifications: Any of the following are beneficial but not required: AINS (associate in general insurance) coursework Mortgage Bankers Association/Real Estate Finance coursework FEMA/NFIP flood training modules Intro-level insurance or compliance courses via The Institutes AA/EOE

Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience in insurance, lending, banking, customer service, or administrative work.
