Be Your Best Self. Be Berkadia. The Insurance Analyst at Berkadia is integral to managing the insurance operations for the company's real estate portfolio. This position entails ensuring compliance with insurance regulations, assessing risks associated with property management, and maintaining accurate insurance documentation. The Insurance Analyst requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams; as well as experience doing data entry within a tracking system.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of contracts review and compliance, policy administration or other related responsibilities.
  • Very strong communication skills and customer service focus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage insurance portfolio for renewals and compliance as required.
  • Administer and place force placed insurance for non-compliant borrowers.
  • Interact with force placed insurance agent, as required.
  • Work with insurance agents, borrowers, client relations and investors as required.
  • Process manual flood orders and follows up with borrowers on flood non-compliance.
  • Process and manage insurance claims on portfolio of loans including lender interaction.
  • Work with Master Servicers and lenders as needed for claims.
  • Provide support to Insurance Analysts in Hyderabad and Ambler as needed with daily activities and questions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
