Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Loan Operations environment or related role preferred
  • General knowledge of loan documentation requirements, as well as basic knowledge of collateral perfection
  • Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve with limited guidance

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex and/or non-routine administrative tasks exercising significant judgment and discretion in the performance of duties.
  • Responsible for day-to-day mail functions; sorting and delivering of all internal packages received from the mailroom; researching and properly posting all loan payments received.
  • General filing of loan files in alphabetical order - to include adding documents to loan files in the designated order assigned. Ability to find and retrieve documents from loan files. Track removed files in order to ensure accountability of loan documents.
  • Review closed loan files received from settlement agents and account officers to ensure loans were closed with proper signatures/authorization and in accordance to the Bank's instructions. The ability to adequately secure banks position by properly filing collateral with government agencies. Cite exceptions and clear when cured.
  • Review all paid out loans to include researching core system for cross collateralization. General lender communication for approval to release collateral. Expanded knowledge in releasing all types of collateral.
  • Prepare cancellations/satisfactions for release of collateral and record with government agencies.
  • Participate in all required compliance training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, or other education events as assigned by Loan Ops and Bank leadership.
  • Adhere to Corporate and Loan Operations policies and procedures as prescribed.
  • Provide world-class service to internal and external clients with a sense of urgency and positive attitude.

  • Demonstrate exceptional organization and time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
