About The Position
Responsible for processing, administration, and closing of consumer/installment and commercial loans through activities such as processing loan payments, setting up new accounts, and maintaining loan records and files. Assists consumer/commercial loan officers with activities such as extension of new loans. Answers routine customer questions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mortgage loan processing and closing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist loan officers in processing and closing mortgage loans
- Collect and review loan documents
- Prepare loan files for underwriting
- Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, and title companies
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and bank regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
