About The Position

Manage and service a portfolio of commercial loans, USDA loans, SBA loans, and other loans for the Bank.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to multitask and juggle priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee SBA 7 (a) and SBA 504, and conventional loan issues.
  • Prepare reports for board meetings, loan committee, and internal audit.
  • Create, organize and maintain credit files.
  • Perform initial review of collateral files.
  • Complete lien searches and lien filings.
  • Secure original vehicle titles and release appropriately upon payoffs.
  • Maintain current liens by filing continuations and terminations.
  • Maintain participated loans.
  • Record and monitor canceled and declined loan files.
  • Process the recording and cancelation of Debt Security Deed (DSD) and collateral assignments of life insurance policies.
  • Follow up with updated financial documents, and clear tickler list items and send request letters as needed.
  • Monitors expiring and or canceled flood, life and property insurance policies and initiate timely follow-up with internal parties.
  • Book loans when they close.
  • Monitor loan related GL account and keep balanced.
  • Monitor delinquent loans and prepare appropriate notices including demand letter.
  • Send out all notices and process loan payments.
  • Answer phone and respond to general questions.
  • Prepare disbursement from loan; cut checks; send wires; or make deposit.
  • Ensure the bank is maintaining proper OFAC compliance on all guarantors before disbursing loan proceeds.
  • Maintain compliance with Bank policies and procedures, in addition to federal and state regulations.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with BSA/AML regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor and report all suspicious activity to the BSA officer.
  • This position is responsible for other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
