About The Position

This position will perform shipping operation duties to ensure a quality product is packaged, prepared, and loaded for delivery to customers in a safe manner.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (focus on Excel) preferred.
Refrigerated warehouse and shipping experience.
Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.

Responsibilities

Accurately count and record products by category.
Enter inventory results into Excel and the inventory database.
Identify and flag any non-conforming product (code, label, short fill, missing carton, leakier, etc.).
Assign orders to other shipping associates from load-out sheets.
Review available products by code date both visibly and in electronic inventory to ensure proper product rotation.
Ensure all product is assembled in the staging area for loading.
Direct movement of trailers throughout the load-out period.
Prepare paperwork for the oncoming shift.
Complete all required documentation and schedule product checks.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
All other duties as assigned by management.
