About The Position

Monitor and check load accuracy for count and confirm the loadout of the correct product according to load sheets for each order. Ensure proper code date rotation is being loaded Complete all required documentation that corresponds with the on time delivery of the load Remove all broken cases containing product and handle freight using the proper equipment Handle any damaged product or items that may need removed and replace with the correct item Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Requirements

  • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Production or general work experienced preferred
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
