About The Position

This person will perform the activities required in the loading/unloading of products, raw materials, rework, and process intermediate materials. They are qualified to operate all equipment associated with the loading/unloading of tank trailers and railcars. They are also qualified to perform general duties in process units in support of production. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications/Licenses: TWIC and Valid Driver's License
  • Experience- 6+ months in an industrial setting preferred; familiarity with loading/unloading operations and applicable regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, SAP, Visio, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Project, Skype.
  • Ability to use electronic calculator, PC, two-way radio, LEL/O₂ meter.
  • Systems Knowledge: DCS, Data Historian, spreadsheets, word processing, email, document management.
  • Must be able to Pass D.O.T. physical and NASAP D.O.T. test.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment for loading/unloading tank trailers and railcars.
  • Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut downloading processes per procedures.
  • Monitor gauges, pumps, valves, and instrumentation; make field/DCS adjustments.
  • Move railcars using heavy equipment (e.g., track-mobile).
  • Perform routine rounds and record process data in logs.
  • Collect and analyze samples for quality checks.
  • Communicate process conditions and troubleshoot issues with supervision.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment for repairs; assist with maintenance tasks.
  • Perform housekeeping to keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Make field connections and operate valves to maintain proper flow and pressure.
  • Maintain certifications and comply with safety and operating procedures.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
  • Other duties as assigned.
