About The Position
The Loader/Unloader Operator is responsible for the primary tasks of loading and unloading materials, as well as housekeeping duties. This role requires cross training on various job duties within the facility, ensuring a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson Policies. The position is full-time and operates on the 1st (Day) Shift at the Cullman Blend Mill, with a starting pay of $19.45/hr. The role involves operating various machinery like loaders and skid steers, managing inventory, and performing facility cleaning. Physical demands include climbing, bending, stooping, lifting 50 lbs or more, and working in varying temperatures and at heights.
Requirements
- Up to six months of experience in loading/unloading and machinery operation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work at heights as needed.
- Ability to obtain and retain a PIT Certification.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Operate loaders and skid steers for production purposes.
- Operate rail car moving loaders for production purposes, Load and unload rail cars.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Perform facility cleaning responsibilities.
- Measure and manage inventory.
