We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader Operator to join our Central Precast team, supporting the efficient and safe handling of precast products within our yard. Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating front-end loaders and related heavy equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret logistical and loading drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with heavy machinery preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate a loader with chains (not just bucket work).
  • Strong understanding of safe rigging and lifting practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Attention to detail and precision in staging and loading.
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of heavy machinery repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs manually.
  • Adequate balance, coordination, and hand-eye control for precise machine operation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces when hooking chains.
  • Tolerance to outdoor working conditions including heat, cold, rain, and dust.
  • Stamina to perform repetitive motions and physical labor for long shifts to the extremes of hot or cold weather.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and buckets to transport precast products and materials within the yard and designated areas.
  • Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Review work orders and production schedules to determine the appropriate handling and movement of materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring accuracy and safety during all handling processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement and support production workflows.
