Requirements

Proficiency in operating front-end loaders and related heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret logistical and loading drawings.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience with heavy machinery preferred.
Proven ability to operate a loader with chains (not just bucket work).
Strong understanding of safe rigging and lifting practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Attention to detail and precision in staging and loading.
Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.
Must be able to climb in and out of heavy machinery repeatedly throughout the day.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs manually.
Adequate balance, coordination, and hand-eye control for precise machine operation.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces when hooking chains.
Tolerance to outdoor working conditions including heat, cold, rain, and dust.
Stamina to perform repetitive motions and physical labor for long shifts to the extremes of hot or cold weather.

Responsibilities

Safely operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and buckets to transport precast products and materials within the yard and designated areas.
Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Review work orders and production schedules to determine the appropriate handling and movement of materials.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring accuracy and safety during all handling processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement and support production workflows.
