Titan Florida has an opening for a Loader Operator at our Jacksonville , FL Terminal. The function of this position is to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader to load customer trucks, as well as the on-site block and ready-mix operations while maintaining a Safety and Customer Focus.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record .
  • Previous experience and knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to recognize different aggregate products.
  • Ability to obtain FDOT Sampling Certification.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to understand and follow the oral and written instructions to carry out sufficient repair orders.
  • Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear .
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Aggregate industry experience preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to Titan and OSHA safety policies rules and regulations.
  • Participates in required safety trainings and meetings.
  • Perform s pre and post inspection of equipment and report any safety hazards and concerns promptly.
  • Completes and submits required inspection reports on time.
  • Perform s required preventive maintenance on the loader daily.
  • Load s materials from stockpiles into trucks, RMC, and Block plants efficiently.
  • Communicates professionally with drivers, RMC, Block, terminal weighmaster, and coworkers.
  • Maintain s storage bins, roadways, terminal yard and loading areas , and ensures these areas are clean, level, and free of debris.
  • Assists with Utility tasks and railcar unloading when .
  • Perform s miscellaneous terminal work with loader as assigned by Terminal Manager.
  • Assists with month-end aggregate inventory and reporting.
  • Assists with daily aggregate rail order placement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
