About The Position

You will collaborate with an advisory group to develop just-in-time learning experiences centered on Microsoft 365 applications. Also, you will share responsibility for managing and troubleshooting our company’s learning management system (LMS). As time allows, you will plan, develop, and curate online trainings on professional development, safety and arboricultural skills. Bartlett Tree Experts is an international company and industry leader in exceptional, scientifically grounded tree care for residential and commercial clients. Our company launched The Bartlett School of Arboriculture blended curriculum and Acorn Team, which is dedicated to creating online trainings for our +3,300 employees. By joining our 4-person Acorn Team, you will play an important role in all stages of developing technology-focused, just-in-time trainings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (required); degree in Media, Education, Communications or a related field is preferred
• +2 years instructional design experience with proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline course authoring tools (required)
• +2 years experience with graphics, video-editing and screen-casting tools (required); experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro is preferred
• LMS administration experience (required)
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI is preferred

Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for managing LMS operations and troubleshooting learner issues
• Analyze audience needs
• Collaborate with an advisory group, stakeholders and subject matter experts to create how-to content, often on Microsoft 365 applications
• Decide on appropriate learning objects and delivery platforms
• Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling online learning objects and courses which include text, graphics, interactions, and simulations
• Update learning objects as needed
