THE WORK The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. This position will report to the Orlando based Global Sustainment (GS) LMS Manager. This will be a high visibility position with responsibilities for day-to-day operations and success of the program. The selected candidate shall assist multiple program managers with program activities to include: cost, schedule, and performance; establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, and identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Requirements

Experience working with proposal capture teams
Experience with Earned Value Management Process
Demonstrated experience leading diversified technical teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively oversee proposal Basis-Of-Estimates (BOEs) development and execution
Good communication and management skills are mandatory for this position, as well as the demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and contractors
Manager shall have the ability to multi-task and be familiar with MS Office and scheduling tools such as MS Project
Working knowledge of the domestic and international travel authorization process
US Citizenship is required. Candidate must have an active DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance to qualify for this position.

Position requires frequent (daily) interface with customers, Program Managers, RMS functional support organizations including Tech Ops, Operations, Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Development, Finance, etc.

Responsibilities

Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Approving time card and expense reports
Overseeing the status of work and budgets
Managing schedules and prepare status reports.
Working with the GS Manager to monitor the assessment of project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Working with the GS Manager to ensure the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Must have demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills and have the experience of leading resources across multiple locations and sites.
Must exert expert knowledge of the GS domains assigned and have knowledge of other GS domains and their interrelationships.
Will contribute to the development of overall business strategies and long-range goals for assigned GS domains.
Will be required to work directly with peer GS Customer Service Organizations and Senior Leadership in supporting all RMS LOB needs associated with responsible GS domains.
Will be required to represent GS Customer Service and present GS initiatives and capabilities to industry peers and customer representatives at various primary RMS locations and/or off site meetings and conferences.
