We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic students to join our Summer Internship Program within our Livestock Technical Services Department. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on professional experience, develop functional skills, and support the team in achieving operational objectives. The Intern will collaborate with colleagues, complete assigned tasks with accuracy and timeliness, and demonstrate a willingness to learn while adding value to ongoing initiatives and contributing to the success of the company.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program within a related field (Business, Life Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge relevant to the insert department}
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week, over 10+ weeks during the summer timeline
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Competency with digital tools (MS Office Suite, ChatGPT or similar, etc.)
  • Eagerness and ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and collaboratively on assigned projects and daily operational tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Engage with departmental leaders to gain insights into the organization and the broader animal health industry.
  • Conduct research, gather and analyze data, and prepare reports, summaries, and presentations as required.
  • Present key findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship program.
