Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Liver Transplant Coordinator Nurse Shift Details: Full Time Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm Position Highlight: A Liver Transplant Coordinator Nurse plays a critical role in the complex and life-saving process of liver transplantation. This specialized nurse is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of care for patients undergoing liver transplants, from initial evaluation through post-operative care. The role requires a deep understanding of liver disease, transplantation protocols, and patient management. The Liver Transplant Coordinator Nurse works closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, hepatologists, and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive, personalized care. Key responsibilities include patient education, scheduling and coordinating transplant-related procedures, monitoring patient status, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Exceptional communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to navigate the challenges of transplant logistics are essential for success in this role.
