At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next. Recently, we have expanded our entertainment offering with Live programming, including the NFL Christmas Day Games, the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight, and the weekly WWE series, launched in January of 2025. We are looking for an experienced Technical Launch Manager to help drive the success of these live shows. As Technical Launch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end live video pipeline, from the point of acquisition with our broadcast production partners to the hundreds of millions of global end-user devices. In partnership with dozens of teams and hundreds of cross-functional partners, you will plan and execute the critical path for the Live feeds and supporting infrastructure for Netflix's largest shows. Before the Event: You will ensure that all partners are aligned on team responsibilities and show-specific features (broadcast technology, localization and accessibility requirements, social and marking needs, member-facing features), and follow up on execution. You will lead readiness reviews, assess risks, and help drive them to resolution. You will schedule, coordinate, and document pre-event testing and validation. You will plan and lead all transmission testing and rehearsals, and coordinate on-call rotations and staffing requirements. During the Event: As a subject matter expert on Netflix's live streaming operations, you will partner with the Live Command Center Operations team to monitor the observability and health metrics of all live events. Your core responsibility is to serve as the lead for incident response: you will declare and manage live incidents, and coordinate the necessary communication and mitigation efforts across internal teams, third-party partners, and executive leadership. This role requires a hands-on approach to operational tasks, including end-user device testing and verifying critical show elements such as SCTE marker insertion, closed captions, and global language support. After the event: You will compile operations summaries, coordinate retrospectives, and follow up on reported incidents to ensure readiness ahead of the next event About You
