About The Position
Dream Nannies is seeking a confident, and fun live\-out nanny for a loving family in Thomaston, GA, caring for their affectionate and silly 3.5\-year\-old son. The ideal nanny is nurturing, encouraging, and bubbly, with a great sense of humor, a relaxed personality, strong work ethic, and the ability to read people well. They are looking for someone genuine, empathetic, and able to take constructive criticism without being sensitiveâsomeone who feels like part of the family and communicates openly. The nanny must also be comfortable with Mom being home and able to read cues appropriately, understanding that sometimes she needs a moment to herself and that the day is not âoverâ the moment she steps into the room. Their son attends school nearby on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, takes a small nap after school, and typically naps from 1:30\/2:00 until 4:30. Responsibilities include helping with potty training, preparing lunch, light cooking and meal prep, dishes, laundry, washing his sheets, taking out diaper pails, running local errands, maintaining household cleanliness between deep cleans, organizing projects, managing recycling, picking up mail, and creating lists when supplies run low. The family would love someone flexible for Momâs appointments, with occasional availability for date nights or potential overnights.
