Live-In Nanny with Required Travel
About The Position
A warm and welcoming private family is seeking an exceptional career Live-In Nanny to provide dedicated, attentive care for their infant within a fully staffed household. The home includes a full-time housekeeper, laundress, and chef, and the environment is collaborative, positive, and team-oriented. The family is looking for a polished, highly experienced professional who values discretion, structure, and privacy, and who will integrate seamlessly into this respectful staff dynamic. This long-term role is ideal for a nurturing, composed, and organized nanny who is confident in taking direction. Mother is hands-on, so the nanny must be comfortable supporting her lead — stepping in or stepping back as needed. Emotional intelligence, professionalism, and sound judgment are essential. The family maintains a strict privacy policy: no phone use while actively caring for the baby, absolutely no photos of the baby, and no posting of the home, property, or family on social media. Discretion is non-negotiable.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full-time Nanny
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in UHNW or high-profile private homes
- Excellent understanding of child development and infant milestones
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Flexibility for travel and schedule adjustments
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the infant
- Maintaining the established sleep routine (currently 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Managing nursery organization and baby-related inventory
- Handling all duties related exclusively to the baby (no general housekeeping required)
- Managing responsibilities with strong time management and organization
- Collaborating respectfully within a fully staffed household
- Traveling with the family as needed
- Supporting the family with flexibility, professionalism, and consistency
