About The Position

This is a unique opportunity for a Live-in Direct Support Professional (DSP). You would be required to live with our person served. Here are a few perks to consider! Live-In DSP’s are provided a studio space with room and board at no cost! Live-In DSP’s would have their own separate living quarters within the home. You do have the ability to view your living quarters prior to move in contract completion. Your family may be allowed to move into the quarters with you! Hours worked would be part-time, including asleep overnight shifts Paid hours are $18.50 hr. and would include awake hours only (avg. 25 hours weekly) Additional work hours are available if interested! Working directly as a Live-in DSP care provider, you will be assisting in providing support services and assistance to individuals in their homes. Candidates will have a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Passion for Helping Others
  • Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members
