Wage: $20.00/hour (The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location) Full range scale: $20.00-$22.30 Job Description Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Follow all support plans to ensure that care is person centered, which includes helping individuals reach their goals and overcome behavioral challenges. Support levels could include but are not limited to: verbal assistance, partial and/or full physical assistance, and performing personal care tasks as needed, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Meal preparation Perform housekeeping and laundry duties Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed. Assist the individual(s) in the community such as appointments, shopping and personal outings, etc. Use public transportation on community outings (free of charge for support staff) – These outings can happen any time of the year, we cannot decline to assist the individual due to weather conditions- unless it is deemed a health and safety risk. Requirements

  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Must be 18+ years or older
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of previous caregiving experience (Preferred)
