Requirements
- No prior experience or training.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Responsibilities
- Repairs cages.
- Gathers up loose birds and takes them to the live hang department.
- Cleans the office, building and shed.
- Paints building and equipment as needed.
- Repairs foggers, cool cells and screens.
- Drives a forklift.
- Changes fan filters and screens.
- Washes trucks.
- Sanitizes trailers.
- Fabricates equipment.
