About The Position

Drives diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to
transport live poultry and jockey trailers on property
or both assigned by Manager

Rotating Schedule per Live Haul Schedule

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or at least 2 years of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of bother education and experience.
• Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• CDL Class A ICC Physical
• Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years

Responsibilities

• Ability to log in compliance to DOT regulations.
• Self-Starter
• Ability to pre and post trip equipment
• Ability to work 12+ hours per day.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
• Must be able to follow instructions, be very flexible and work independently.
• Ability to handle on- road situations when they occur.
• Float to a Dressed Driver position when required.
• Ability to operate forklift.
