About The Position

The Live Event Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations for all live programming. You will be the point of contact for all requirements and requests by Fox Sports, Entertainment and Fox News Media team leading up to and during each live event. So, when a baseball game goes into extra innings or something unexpected happens on the live event, you will be making split second decisions that directly impacts viewers experience and event revenue. The role is part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX Networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree is awesome, but not required
  • Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+ is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Live Media Integration & Distribution Provide support for live events and execute real-time changes requests between production, sales, programming, and broadcast team.
  • Coordinate all aspects of live programming across streaming and linear distribution platforms.
  • Live Event Coordination Troubleshoot and resolve live incidents and issues Execute operational procedures and technical workflows
  • Collaboration & Partnerships Play an important role to successfully pull together live events by supervising teams and coordinating with Fox Sports and Management Support
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Teams Work closely with all business units and provide world class customer service support
