The Opportunity Expanding Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and takes pride in precision and follow-through. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining detailed electronic case files, managing trial deadlines, and coordinating litigation-related meetings, hearings, and depositions. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential to success in this role. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, with a consistent commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. We are seeking a genuine and client-focused individual who can communicate effectively with people of all cultures and backgrounds while delivering an extraordinary client experience aligned with our firm’s Core Values. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient progression of matters throughout the entire litigation phase. Trial experience is highly preferred. Objective Serve clients and support the case handling attorney during the litigation phase of all assigned matters. Desired Outcomes Accountable to provide the best possible customer service to our clients and act as their advocate when working with any third parties on their behalf. Contact clients at minimum every 20 days to give case updates and check in with client regarding: How they are doing and if there is anything else we can do to assist them; Status of medical treatment; Litigation appointment reminders (i.e. depositions, court dates, etc.); Satisfaction with Laborde Earles’ handling of the case. Meet with clients to obtain discover responses and conduct deposition preparation. Contact third parties such as medical providers and insurance companies on behalf of the client. Accountable to ensure that all matters assigned are handled as quickly, accurately, and thoughtfully as possible from sign up through disbursal. Follow the Litify Matter Plan for each matter assigned and complete each task timely, accurately, and completely. Ensure all data is properly and accurately entered into Litify. Organize, save, and file all matter related documents. Draft, save, mail, fax, and/or email correspondence and supporting documents. Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings. Assist with discovery, including but not limited to, the preparation and completion of written discovery and scheduling of depositions. Assist with trial preparation, including the assembly of exhibits, witness binders, and appendices for depositions and court filings. Keep track of cases expenses, including copy and postage charges, entering into Litify for each client. Accountable to provide handling attorney support as requested and as outlined in Litify Tasks. Timely response and completion of tasks assigned by handling attorney. Timely completion of all Litify Matter Plan tasks.
