About The Position

Requirements

  • J.D from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of employment
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal and business documents
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

  • Oral advocacy
  • Legal writing

Responsibilities

  • Attend court proceedings (trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations)
  • Draft pleading, motions, discovery, memoranda of law, and appellate briefs
  • Meet and confer with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
