About The Position

Due to the continued growth of our practice, we are looking for an associate with 2-7 years of experience in mass torts or product liability litigation. In this role, you will gain hands-on trial experience working with a nationally recognized trial team that has successfully defended Fortune companies in some of the country’s most challenging venues.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
2-7 years of experience in mass torts and/or product liability litigation preferred
Might be willing to consider candidates with experience in other defense litigation practice areas within the 2–7-year range
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery
Admitted to practice in California

Nice To Haves

Trial experience or interest in trial work is a plus

Responsibilities

Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and analysis for case strategy
Take and defend depositions
Participate in all stages of trial preparation, including discovery, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy
Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling
Handle court appearances and argue motions as needed
Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters
