About The Position

Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator (Service Desk) for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! You'll work with a diverse team managing enterprise systems, specialized Linux OS, cross-domain solutions, and boundary devices. What You’ll Experience: Hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting Engaging with cross-domain and boundary device solutions Providing top-notch customer service Managing enterprise-level solutions and re-imaging workstations, servers, and peripherals What You Bring to the Table: Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at time of hire: e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security
  • Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration
  • Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for Network administration experience
  • Expertise in re-imaging both physical and virtual servers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
