About The Position

Schedule, test, and deploy patches for Windows and/or Linux operating systems. Monitor patch compliance and generate regular reports. Coordinate with application owners to validate patches in test environments. Troubleshoot issues related to patch deployment. Ensure patching activities comply with change management procedures. Automate patching processes using tools like Ansible, Cutover etc Provide support to mark down applications and route traffic away from data centers 5 plus years of experience in systems administration and patch management. Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/SUSE). Experience with patch automation tools (e.g., Bladelogic, Ansible, Splunk). Own the patch management lifecycle for Windows/Linux systems. Manage vulnerability remediation in coordination with the Security team. Perform patch impact analysis and risk assessment. Maintain documentation for patching standards and procedures. Provide support and maintenance for SSO-integrated applications

Requirements

  • Linux System Admin with scripting knowledge
  • 5 + years of experience in systems administration and patch management.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/SUSE).
  • Experience with patch automation tools (e.g., Bladelogic, Ansible, Splunk).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
