Requirements
- Clearance: An active NSA TS/SCI with Poly.
- Linux Proficiency: Minimum of 3 years of recent Linux server administration experience.
- AWS Expertise: At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS.
- Automation Skills: Experience with Ansible or Salt.
- Patching and Upgrading: Proven experience in patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances.
- Security+: Security+ certification is required.
- Education and Experience: 10 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED. 8 years of experience with an Associate's Degree. 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of experience with a Master's Degree. 2 years of experience with a Doctorate's Degree.
Nice To Haves
- Versatile Skill Set: Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Splunk, and scripting (bash, Python) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set Up and Manage Linux Servers: Configure, maintain, and optimize Linux servers to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Monitor and Upgrade: Keep our Linux servers and AWS instances up-to-date with the latest patches and upgrades.
- Security Compliance: Assist in implementing and maintaining security compliance controls to protect our systems.
- Documentation: Support the documentation process for non-applicable controls and inventory changes.
- Installation and Integration: Help install new hardware or software and seamlessly integrate it with our existing networked infrastructure.
- Decommissioning: Assist in the safe decommission and removal of obsolete hardware.
