Performs quality checks and produces finished goods according to work order.

Requirements

  • Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure.
  • Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified quality checks/inspections per the work order.
  • Packages and labels finished products according to the work order.
  • Perform line clearances at completion and start of orders.
  • Communicates key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance, production and continuous improvement.
  • Follow work instructions as needed and may be asked to train others to those instructions.
  • Performs root cause analysis when problems arise to determine if actions can be taken immediately or appropriate personnel need to be notified.
  • Removes scrap material from the production area.
  • Maintain 5s environment in the work area.
  • Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And, has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required.
