The Lead Linen Tech is responsible for over-seeing and performing all functions in the Linen area. This will include inventory, replenishment and delivery documentation of all user areas. Assignment of daily tasks to Linen Technicians and ability to give direction when needed. Ensure proper restock/empty of all Scrub-Ex machines on each shift daily. Keep department organized. Able to call in staff when needed. Ability to track supplies needed for department, i.e soil linen bags, scrub machine bags, cart liners, reject linen bags, along with any patient linen needs. Adhere to all department and hospital policies, and any other tasks necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Strong/constant communication with Manager/Assistant Manager required. Able to quickly and efficiently train and orientate new staff members. Answer department phone when assigned, respond promptly to requests. Duties assigned may be in either tower or both.
