Shift 7a-3:30p w/ weekends Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 POSITION PURPOSE: Prepares processes and cleans linen for Medical Center, Main Clinic and the Health Centers service accounts according to accepted Healthcare industry standards following BSI protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Illinois Operators License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process and clean contaminated linen according to BSI protocols.
- Operates computerized laundry equipment.
- Process linen via mechanical or manual functions according to BSI standards.
- Prepare linen for CGH Couriers to transport to CGH Health Centers.
- Prepare linen carts for delivery to the hospital.
- Examines linen for quality (i.e. stains and wear).
- Performs other linen cleaning related duties.
- Weigh all clean linen and contaminated linen carts being transported to and from the hospital.
