About The Position

To inventory, store and distribute clean linen to designated areas. To support a high standard of patient care throughout the facility by providing the best customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions, count, distinguish linen items and sizes.
• Demonstrates a professional approach towards customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receives clean linen deliveries daily, distribute to designated areas, and stored per establish standards.
• Maintains the assigned par levels of linen in stock room and in designated daily used areas. Notify supervisor of needed linen items, discrepancies in linen deliveries.
• Removes soiled, stained and damage linen from circulation for repairs, rewash or discarding.
• Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and presentable according to established guidelines and in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
