About The Position

As a Linen Control & Shipper at MGM Grand, you will receive finished product from other departments and prepares these for a daily delivery for all departments, inputs daily poundage record in the Laundry Track system

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledgeable in linen control preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver standard linen hampers of 250-300 pounds
• Unload linen truck at the dock and take to appropriate lockers
• Stock clean linen on locker shelves according to par levels, place new linen to the back and existing stock to the front for good rotational usage
• Inventory each linen locker to determine requirements for set par levels
• Remove soiled linen hampers from linen chutes when full, replace them, and take the soiled linen to the dock
• Maintain cleanliness of all linen areas on a daily basis, including sweeping, mopping and organizing
• Report needed maintenance and safety hazards in assigned areas
