The Aerial Lineman is responsible for performing skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and operation of overhead and underground telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves working in outdoor environments, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring the integrity and safety of CATV lines including Strand, Fiber, and Coax.

Requirements

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Preferred
Proven ability to pull and back trailers safely and efficiently
Comfortable driving in high-traffic areas
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Available for full-time work with flexibility for occasional overtime
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Self-motivated and dependable
Basic computer knowledge (inventory systems, email, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of experience in aerial lineman or telecommunications.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
Strong knowledge of line construction tools, materials, and safety regulations.
Proficient in coax and fiber installation, pole transfers, and new builds.
Ability to carry 75–80 lbs., including extension ladders.
Comfortable working at heights of 20+ feet.
Capable of bending, climbing, crawling, and lifting throughout the work shift.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including pulling and backing trailers
Navigate and drive in heavy traffic conditions
Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment between job sites and the warehouse
Lift and move items up to 60 pounds regularly
Perform physical tasks involving bending at the waist and knees
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with warehouse organization
Operate a forklift (preferred but not required)
Use basic computer systems for inventory tracking and communication
Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
