About The Position

The Line Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight and management of production operations on an assigned shift. This includes communicating goals, coaching employees, ensuring safety and equipment maintenance, monitoring production output, and reporting on progress. The supervisor will also identify efficiency issues, train staff, manage workflow, conduct performance evaluations, troubleshoot problems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper paperwork completion.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Oversees production operations on assigned shift
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment
Troubleshoots issues that arise
Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems
Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Ensures paperwork is completed correctly
Performs other related duties as assigned
