Line Operator - All Shifts
About The Position
Lydech offers a full line of innovative engineered products to assist in noise and heat abatement within the automotive and industrial markets. The business manufactures acoustical damping and thermal insulating solutions comprised of fiber and metal based composite product constructions. These products are typically found in the interior (dash insulators), underbody (wheel well, fuel tank, exhaust) and under hood (engine compartment) of passenger vehicles, heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles as well as in other industrial applications. The segment employs approximately ~1400 employees with operations in the U.S., Germany, France, and China. Job Summary: Continuous manufacturing production & inspection on production line. Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets.
Requirements
- High school, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must have knowledge of Oracle job data and labeling transactions in addition to paperwork / traceability requirements to ensure accurate material transactions.
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
- Must pass pre-employment screening requirements
- Possess good communication skills
- Must be able to use measurement devices
- Must be able to read and write
- Must possess good math skills

Responsibilities
- Perform proper machine settings based on product specifications for set-ups and production run
- Read & follow manufacturing orders, control plans, SOP’s, safety requirements
- Inspection of product going into and out of process
- Support and maintain the world class manufacturing system (including 6S, Kaizen, waste, safety, SMED, Kanban, and mistake-proofing
