Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Conveyors, Indexing Equipment, Label and Coding Machines to identify and address any potential issues. Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components or parts on the production machinery to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of machinery with overall production processes. Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to understand the structure and functionality of production equipment. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, such as mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic failures, using appropriate diagnostic tools. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and preventive maintenance schedules. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new production machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Train and mentor junior mechanics or operators on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Production Mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, with specific knowledge of Aerosol Filling Machines.
- Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Conveyors, Indexing Equipment, Label and Coding Machines.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and their operation, including the ability to identify and repair pneumatic failures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and provide clear instructions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production goals.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
