Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engine Center in Bridgeport, WV as a Line Engineer . In this role, you will provide day-to-day engineering oversight and technical support for the overhaul and repair of engines serviced at our facility, including PT6, PW300, and PW500 models. To succeed in this position, you should have a strong technical foundation and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced MRO environment. This position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support shift transitions, and limited travel may be necessary. Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting gas turbine engine maintenance, overhaul, or repair in an MRO, OEM, or Airline environment

Nice To Haves

  • Active Powerplant (A&P) license preferred
  • Prior experience with Pratt & Whitney engine overhaul processes
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair specifications
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a production or maintenance environment, with the ability to drive timely resolution
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine engine systems and components (e.g., compressors, turbines, combustors, accessory systems)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and define engine work scopes to support maintenance and overhaul activities
  • Provide timely and effective resolution to technical service issues encountered during repair processes
  • Monitor and analyze trends in engine hardware reliability and test cell performance, including reject data
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and repair processes
  • Deliver customer-focused technical support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Lead or support service difficulty investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action development
  • Prepare clear and accurate technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational and organizational goals
  • Participate in technical reviews, project meetings, and program reviews
