Responsible for the preparation of lessons plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants. Lead group dance for participants 50 and over. Arrive on time and prepare needed equipment. Track attendance and communicate program updates to participants. Respond quickly to all emergencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Line Dancing.
  • Criminal History Background Check required.
  • Instructors are responsible for providing their own music, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
  • Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
  • Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.
  • JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.
