About The Position

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment. This role ensures food is cooked to recipe specifications, presented consistently, and prepared safely while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Requirements

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (full-service restaurant experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic
  • Morning availability needed

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, plating standards, and ticket times
  • Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff
  • Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Support team during peak service periods and maintain a positive attitude
